At the LAZ society we decided to encourage the locals to preserve cultural heritage and to progress in production and to achieve a better quality of food products that are typical for the Jablanica Valley. For this purpose, on Sunday, November 29, 2015, we will organize the event "Goodies of the Jablanica Valley".

Slovenians differ from other nations precisely in the arrangement of vegetable and herb gardens. How to combine this with a residential garden to make it beautiful and useful and typical of ours? A landscape architect who specializes in this topic will talk about this with a rich pictorial and graphic display.

On Thursday, September 24, 2015, the Laz Rural Development Association organized the 4th event as part of the Democratic Responsibility and Citizens' Participation in Europe - DOCPIE entitled "Civil Society Open University". The DOCPIE project is co-financed by the European Union through the Europe for Citizens program.
As part of the event, four activities took place: an international conference, the promotion of citizens' rights and the collection of opinions at the NGO - LUPA festival, training for the development of project ideas and applications for the Europe for Citizens program and an intercultural evening.

The project Democratic responsibility and civic participation in Europe - DOCPIE, which is co-financed by the European Union through the Europe for Citizens program, will host an all-day event in Ljubljana at four venues during the week of civic participation. The LAZ association, the coordinator of 15 partners from 13 countries, invites you to participate in the events.

As part of the DOCPIE project, the LAZ Society collects citizens' opinions.
