Lecture House and Family Gardens

You are invited to a lecture with Nataša Bučar Draksler, which will be held on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the GD hall in Zgornja Jablanica.
Slovenians differ from other nations precisely in the arrangement of vegetable and herb gardens. How to combine this with a residential garden to make it beautiful and useful and typical of ours? A landscape architect who specializes in this topic will talk about this with a rich pictorial and graphic display.

At the lecture, we will think together about the proposals that will be presented by a landscape architect with 30 years of experience in the design and arrangement of house gardens. Comprehensible and professional, and with a rich pictorial and graphic display, it will explain the potential that the garden has to be tailored to you.

Nataša Bučar Draksler is a landscape architect who, since her studies, has been mainly engaged in micro-projects of city and country gardens at the family level. Experience has enriched everything from the times when we developed the awareness that a house garden can be an outdoor living room to today, when we are increasingly aware that we can also take care of the needs for healthy and fresh food on our own plot.
With our own example, it encourages us to work in a natural and sustainable way with our piece of planet Earth. In order to make it easier for us to understand the natural laws in the garden, together with Jelka Čop, u.d.i. farming, she developed a gardening tool for garden maps. The lecturer is also the owner of the agricultural holding, which is converted to organic in the second year. He has been living in a house in the forest in Iško Vintgar for 20 years, where he also does business and creates with the help of the Internet.
If you want, during the lecture, one or two drawn visitors will start sketching their garden.

The price of the lecture is 5 euros per participant.
