The first meeting within the Democratic Ownership and Civic Participation in Europe – DOCPIE project

15 partners from thirteen European countries participate in the DOCPIE project. The main goal of the project is to increase people's awareness of European citizenship and European identity. About the necessity of the participation of every European citizen in the European elections and the needs for the development of the network and the strategy for cooperation between European citizens.

The meeting at the Hungarian Kistarcsi is the first of five to take place as part of the DOCPIE project.
As part of the project, four more meetings will be held: in Dresden (Germany), in Seres (Greece), in Slovenia (Šmartno pri Litija) and in Verona (Italy).

The purpose of the meeting is the development of professional relations between partner organizations from different parts of Europe, as this way of cooperation is crucial for maintaining and increasing the impact of this project.
As part of the first meeting, an advocacy strategy will be developed, there will be talk about cooperation in the community, about monitoring and evaluating the results, and about the way to realize all activities and setting deadlines.
