The charming village Breg near Litija has long been known for its cultivation extremely tasty strawberries and asparagus. For this purpose, the Laz Rural Development Association organizes an event every year, which is attended by thousands of visitors, which celebrates these two delicious fruits. This year’s 6th in a row promises to be particularly interesting.
The culinary event will convince you with lined stalls that will shrink under the weights like this fresh strawberries and asparagus as well as a multitude of different home-made delicacies and unique handicraft products. As befits such an event, catering providers will take care of the culinary delights.
You will also be able to spin to the sounds of the accordion. Animation will also be provided for the youngest, who will participate in creative workshops or play on the children’s playground.

Paths that take you to the event
Starting point Ljubljana: Leave the Ljubljana ring road, which connects Ljubljana with Štajerska, in Šentjakob and take Zasavska cesta. After 28 km, you arrive in Litija, where you cross the bridge over the Sava River and continue in the direction of Zagorje ob Sava. After 1.5 km, turn right from the Zasavska road to the village of Breg pri Litija. Directional signs will lead you to the event space.
From the Styrian direction: Leave the highway at Trojane and head to Zagorska dolina. In Zagorje ob Sava, you cross the river Sava and turn right onto Zasavska cesta, in the direction of Ljubljana. After 16 km, you reach the village of Breg pri Litija, where you turn left. Directional signs will lead you to the event space.
From the direction of Dolenj: Leave the highway in Bič or in Ivančna Gorica. Follow the roadside signs for the direction of Litija. You drive past Bogenšperk Castle. After the 21st km, you arrive in Šmartna pri Litija, where the mighty church stands. After 2 km, the direction of Zagorje ob Sava you arrive in the village of Breg pri Litija. Directional signs will lead you to the event space.
