Spend Sunday, May 23 from 12 noon on Breg pri Litija, where we prepare for you ‘Strawberry and Asparagus Day’ with a varied culinary and sports program:

– Offering homemade goodies and products at the stalls
– Sports social games for individuals, groups and animation for children
– The Litian Echo ensemble will play
at 1:00 p.m.: Asparagiade – Preparing asparagus in different ways and tasting
15:00: Strawberry pleasures – Preparation of drinks, pancakes and sweets with strawberries and tasting
We will prepare an asparagus feast for you in several ways:
– Asparagus with smoked pancetta
– Asparagus with wide noodles in sauce
– Toasted asparagus in butter with cheese
You will also be able to serve yourself fresh drinks made from delicious strawberries and pancakes, and at the end you will also find a giant strawberry cake.
There will also be social games at the event, where teams of adults will compete in knowledge of the cartman’s tradition and knowledge of carts. The teams will also compete in the skill of sawing a ‘log’, in a wheelbarrow riding and jumping with tied legs. In the end, the winner will receive a rich prize.
The youngest will also be taken care of, otherwise they will compete in assembling stones in height, walking on clowns and jumping with their feet tied in a sack. Here, too, the best team will receive a basket of goodies.
