The LAZ Society has successfully applied for the status of an association operating in public interest in the field of rural development. This means that all taxpayers can allocate 0.5% of their income tax to the association. Because of this, you will not be any worse off – the only difference is that 0.5% of the income tax paid will go to the association, and not to the state budget.
The LAZ Society will no longer have to pay administrative fees, and in addition, the status in the public interest in tenders is scored with additional points.
Taxpayers can allocate 0.1%, 0.2%, 0.3%, 0.4% or 0.5% of income tax to an individual beneficiary, and the sum of all may not exceed 0.5%.
How can you do that? You can fill out a request to allocate part of the income tax online using the e-tax application or print statement, which you send or submit to DURS, or you can contact the competent tax office in person and submit the request orally on the record.
