on the first Friday of the year closest to the full moon, between half past eight and eight in the evening, hikers go from Breg pri Litija and Tenetiš, Gradiški Laz and Spodnja and Zgornja Jablanica to the church of St. Magdalena in Gradišče pri Litija. All paths lead through the forest, an hour, up to an hour and a half of easy walking. At the church, the hikers who come from several directions meet around nine o’clock in the evening and offer each other what they brought with them in their backpacks. Together, they then go to the village of Gradišče, where they are welcomed on two farms. Nativity scenes are on display at the Pr` Kokolj farm and offer of homemade goodies. It will be very happy at the Vovk homestead, where hikers will be able to enjoy a warm farm feast and dance and have fun late into the night.
The march promotes the Society for Rural Development Laz from Jablaniška dolina www.jablaniskadolina.si, 051/312-739, hikers take part in the hike at their own risk.
