The path leads past three churches, a traditional fruit drying room and past the Memoirs’ Homestead in Gradišče with a new thematic exhibition.
Hikers can register from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the fire station in Zgornja Jablanica, Šmartno pri Litiji. For a symbolic registration fee, you drink your morning coffee or tea, eat some ‘štrukeljc’, take an apple in your backpack and set off. A number of pleasant experiences await you on the way – from tours of cultural heritage buildings (St. Ana’s church in Jablanica, prStrnari in Jablaniške Laze, see the 65-year-old fruit drying plant, and on Mamolje, the church of St. John the Baptist and, of course, the church of St. Mary Magdalene), the feast of the locals, to the observation of small animals, various forest tree species and the admiration of beautiful panoramic views on all parts of Slovenia. You can get to Zgornja Jablanica from several directions:
From Dolenjska via Bogenšperk and in Šmartne near the church towards Gabrovka and before Cerovica, turn left towards the fire station in Zg. Jablanica – and above it you can see the church of St. Anne.
