A year and a half has passed since the first singing rehearsals of the Women’s Choir, which operates within the framework of the LAZ Society. The girls practice once a week under the guidance of Ana Tori and already have seven performances behind them.
The magazine is primarily an opportunity for an external professional assessment of progress, for comparison with other choirs, obtaining a routine on stage and, last but not least, socializing with other choirs.
The Laz Choir sang three songs: ‘Altes Liebeslied (Mein Herzlein tut mir gar zu Weh!) – Johannes Brahms (1833 – 1897), Flower in the garden – national, arr. V. Mihelčič and Tenenaj, Rezjankica, Slovenian folk, arr. Matija Tomc.
The singers were satisfied with the performance and are aware of the opportunity to improve their performance.
The regional magazine, which was held every year on the evening of Friday, May 9, 2014, was prepared every year by JSKD, the Litija-Šmartno regional office. In addition to ŽPZ Laz, the ŽPZ from Dol pri Litija, the Zvon Mixed Choir from Šmartne pri Litija and the Valvazor octet from Litija performed in the cultural center in Šmartne pri Litija.
