Visiting young people from Spain – 14.8.2013

A group of seven travelers from Spain visited us as part of their journey by train in Europe. During the more than two-week trip, their journey also took them to Slovenia. They were interested in where our association was located, which we were happy to show them.

On Wednesday 14.8. In 2013, a group of young people from Spain was in a hurry on the bank. The leader of the group, who otherwise cooperates with the LAZ association through his organization, expressed his desire to come to the Jablaniška Valley as part of their journey by train around Europe. The expected shorter visit resulted in a full-day visit, and instead of returning to Ljubljana, the visitors stayed right on the bank and slept on the Paternoster homestead. After several days of sleeping on the train, they were more than enthusiastic about the accommodation, and at the same time they were introduced to life in the village. The purpose of the trip was for young people aged 13 to 17 to find their way around abroad as much as possible and to practice English at the same time. In just over 2 weeks, they traveled 8 countries of the European Union, and traveled exclusively by train. In the future, we expect even more visits from young people from abroad. If you are interested in socializing in English, write to us at the association’s email address and join us.
