Tour of the permanent collection of Sava pebbles of pupils from Gradec Elementary School

On Friday, March 6, 2015, the ninth-graders of Gradec Elementary School came to see the permanent collection of Sava pebbles in Breg pri Litija as part of the cultural day.

In sunny and windy weather, the students and I walked through the villages of Breg and Tenetiše, where the students got acquainted with cultural heritage (haystacks, ‘štirne’, the church of St. Catherine). In the fire station in Breg, we watched a film about the permanent collection of Sava pebbles and then the collection itself. We crossed the street to the Paternoster homestead, where we were greeted by the owner of the homestead. We drank homemade juice under the tent and warmed up a bit. Then we looked at the equipment ‘kajž’ on the commercial building, which has been converted for tourist purposes. The youth enjoyed it.
