On Thursday, May 15 at 5:00 p.m., the PR Herb FarmJanez in Gradišče near Litija took a tour of Mrs. Pavle Rozina’s herb garden. Pavla Rozina has been engaged in growing herbs for many years, and a tour of the herb garden was a continuation of her autumn lecture on herbs.
Pavla took us with great joy through her beautiful herb garden, which is already in full growth in the month of May. We looked at all kinds of herbs, which of course we also smelled and some of them we also tasted. We got first-hand information about how to use which herbs are used, what is good to apply to a mosquito bite, which preparations are suitable for increasing resistance, how to arrange a herb garden… One of the very interesting information was that the herb garden is not fertilized.
At the end of the tour, Pavla prepared a tasting of herbal tea, homemade grape juice and extremely tasty curd herbal spreads with the addition of cypress, asparagus, lemon balm and mint.
