The singers of the Laz Women’s Choir were on the first joint trip to Ptuj on 26.10.2013

After a good year of operation, the members of the LAZ choir went on a trip to Ptuj on Saturday 26 October 2013. We took advantage of a beautiful sunny day to visit the city of Ptuj and spend the whole day socializing.

The singers, together with the choir director, went on our first trip together by train at 08:15 from Litija. At the Ptuj railway station, the city guide met us and told us about the history of the city and the buildings we walked past on the way to the castle. At the castle, we saw a permanent collection of noble families, a music collection and a collection of weapons. The castle offers a comprehensive historical overview and some of the oldest surviving objects from different historical periods. After a three-hour tour, we spent a free afternoon walking along the Drava, coffee shops and chatting. We returned late in the evening, satisfied that we spent one warm sunny Saturday together in late October. Singing exercises that unite us once a week are mainly dedicated to rehearsal and there is simply no time to chat. Our singing group has become even more connected, so we are planning such trips in the future as well.

We set off in red fleeces, but it was so hot that we were soon in short sleeves.

In such a large wine barrel, you are simply gripped by thirst.
