In addition to 80 other associations from all over Slovenia, the Society for Rural Development Laz also presented itself at the Economic Exhibition Center in Ljubljana under the auspices of the Tourist Association of Slovenia. A new promotional folder with the tourist offer of the Jablaniška Valley was available to visitors. Passers-by could not resist the delicious apple strudels and apple shards. The promotion was enriched by the offer of farms from the valley. The basic purpose of the fair is to promote and establish contacts with other exhibitors, but visitors also like to buy homemade products. Special attention was paid to the presentation of events in the valley, especially the hike along the slopes of the Jablaniška valley, which will take place on April 2 this year.
During the fair days from Thursday to Sunday, farms with an offer from the Jablaniška Valley presented themselves at the exhibition space of the LAZ association. They prepared home-made delicacies, both for tasting, and for sale.
Mrs. Pavla from the PR farmJanez from Zelenac prepared herbs, spices, tea mixtures, pickled and dried porcini mushrooms, herbal spirits and concentrated grape juice. The juice is natural, without added sugar and preservatives, which is why it convinced visitors the most. Passers-by also liked to reach for walnut štrukeljci.
The Paternoster homestead from Breg pri Litija offered delicious cheeses, cream, butter, cottage cheese from the local cheese factory. Visitors could try grilled cheeses, which Mateja baked at the exhibition area.
On Sunday, the LAZ association also represented the municipality of Šmartno pri Litija at the exhibition space of the Heart of Slovenia in the Marble Hall. For the youngest visitors, the members of the association prepared a workshop with the construction of pebbles, of course with tasting the Jablaniš štrukeljci and presenting the touristic offer of the Jablaniška valley.
