On February 19, 2015, at 5:00 p.m., a lecture on the topic ‘Choosing, sowing, transplanting and maintaining plants’ took place in the Pustov mlin inn in Cerovica. The lecturer was Mr. Anton Klinc, a gardener from Moravč pri Gabrovka. The lecture was extremely well attended, which indicates that gardening is an interesting topic.
Mr. Anton Klinc first spoke about the importance of the nursery next to the house. Then he devoted himself to balcony flowers and answered many questions regarding the choice of land or Preparation of this, the selection of troughs, the selection of the correct flowers, the maintenance of the seedlings, the sowing of seedlings, watering, fertilizing, diseases and sprays.
He told everything about planting blueberries and what you need to pay attention to. Of course, there was also talk about vegetable seedlings, especially the sowing of tomatoes, peppers, onions and lettuce.
Finally, Mr. Klinc said something more about genetically modified plants and the harmfulness of only these for our organism. Many questions from enthusiastic listeners followed. At the end, Mr. Klinc gave each of the participants a salad plant.
