On October 9, 2014, a free lecture entitled Tips for gardening and permaculture was held in the premises of the Pustov mlin inn. The lecturer was Mrs. Štefana Kos Zidar, B.Sc. Eng. agronomy, principal of the School of Holticulture and Visual Arts in Celje.
The lecturer presented to the participants of the lecture through theory and practice the characteristics of permaculture gardening (what is permaculture, how and when to start, gardens of permaculture beds, an example of good practice,…) and gave some tips for gardening (how to ecologically defend against pests, which are useful animals in the garden…). The participants were most interested in the fight against pests. They also exchanged opinions and experiences with each other.
